Here is how my day goes when the only thing I have planned is hanging with the boy:

Happy Valentine's Day!

I didn't think my hubby was going to make it home for Valentines day but he wanted one day off so we got to spend all day together. We had some errands to run and the weather was 45 degrees. 45 DEGREES PEOPLE!

Temps like that haven't been seen around here in a couple months so I thought it would be nice to take Gotti to the dog park and since Henry loves to watch dogs we thought it would be a fun outing. We must of waited tot long because by the time we got there it had turned cold and rainy out. Henry and I only made it about ten minutes before we were back in the car. Chris and Gotti hung out a little longer and Gotti played with all his dog friends. We decided on Quaker steak for lunch and Henry decided he needed a midday pickup!

Lunch was alright and Henry was such a good baby. He was fascinated by all the shiny and bright decor strung throughout the restaurant. 

Chris volunteered to change Henry and  we found out there was not a changing table in the men's room only  in the women's room . So daddy got out of diaper duty, and I wondered if most places were set up this way. Twenty minutes later we realized they had a family bathroom. Good for the rest of the future daddies in the restaurant, bad for me because I had to change Henry.  

After lunch we went home relaxed and played and now my babe is napping which means......MOMMY TIME!

Sooo I have neglected the
Blog I feel terrible because I told my self I wouldn't do this and look at me know. Luckily it wasn't too long so I won't get too hard on myself. Anyways my weekend started out with a promise of lots to do and then things kind of went the complete opposite. Friday I spent the day paying bills, playing with Henry, and trying on my bridesmaid dress so we could see how much work we needed to do on it... A LOT! My Friday night kinda died when my babe fell asleep early and Henry got cranky. Saturday started out more promising grandparents for some coffee and visiting and Henry being cranky again. Sometimes I think my tricks for getting him not cranky are a tad weird.. Pulling him around on a carpet, bouncing him on a exercise ball, and getting him naked. Strange or normal?
Anyways all day I had been debating on going to a birthday party later that night because the party was paintballing! My one experience in paintballing ten years ago didn't leave me with the desire to do it again but I was more excited about seeing friends I hadn't seen in a long time. So I got the courage up to play and wouldn't you know it not five minutes before we were to start the place lost power and never got it back. Bummer. So we went to a bar and the whole time I just wanted to go home to my family sooo I did!
